Project Description

In October 2015, the University of Bath relaunched their Bath Connection service using the Aluminate software, to coincide with the University’s 50th anniversary.

The system will open to all 100,000 alumni and 17,000 students, with over 800 mentors available offering a range of mentoring services. Around 800 previous Bath Connection users were migrated seamlessly onto the new system. The new system also included an integration with NetCommunity to allow members to use Single Sign On to access the system.

Aluminati offered a ready-made solution to many of the issues we wanted fixed and could make the system actually do what we wanted it to, alongside which they would develop and manage the technical side of the system, allowing our team to focus on marketing and using the system for engagement.

Our experience working with Aluminati was brilliant! We had a tight timeframe to deliver the system to an external deadline and the team worked their socks off to meet this for us. They replied to all of our questions and concerns almost immediately and gave easy to understand answers for the less technically minded on the team.
