Plymouth University approached Aluminati as they required an effective online solution that could handle the scale of approximately 100,000 alumni, students and offer holders. 

Plymouth Connect¬†initially launched to 21,000 alumni at the beginning of November 2015. Plymouth Connect offers an online directory for networking and ideal platform for alumni and student eMentoring, as well as Ambassadors mentoring aimed at converting prospective students. The complex project was delivered smoothly and in time to be showcased at key international alumni events. The Plymouth team’s enthusiasm and strong marketing and communications efforts (internally and externally) in the lead up to and at the time of launch were integral to the platform’s successful uptake.

Jean Almond, Alumni Engagement Manager at Plymouth University, chose the Aluminate platform to meet their objectives and commented,

With an effective internal and external communications plan, Plymouth Connect successfully registered over 1000 members and 80 mentors from all over the world, offering expertise from across a range of industries, in just the first three months of launching.
